October 2024 Happenings
Dear Friends,
The Lord is doing wonderful things in Pittsburgh. I know we are all busy with the hustle and bustle, but amidst the hurry, the spirit is also stirring this fall season (not just the leaves). This September I spent time pouring into the following ministries: ladies, teens, evangelism team, worship team, and other solo worship events.
In a time where people are lost, and don’t know which way to turn, our church, Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship, has been a light and beacon on this hill, Mount Oliver. Stay prayed up for this community, because many people have lost hope and don’t know which way to turn. People are hurting and the laborers are few. We’re believing for people to come through our church doors, and for us to also walk outside the church doors, to reach far and wide. Who do we reach? Many individuals, such as single moms, single parent households, families, teenagers who attend youth group by themselves, the range is far and wide. At PCF, we help many families, bless homes with food, give counsel, lead them to a higher purpose, and most importantly, lead them to Christ. We see people in need, and we’re believing for broken people to be healed, set free, and know God’s love. Pray for us, as we fulfill His purpose and walk out our mission in the inner city of Pittsburgh.
Recently, I told many of my partners and friends that I plan on recording an album. The dream is coming to pass and a recording date has been set. Mid-November, I’m going to record five new songs, and add them to a few of my previous songs, and create a full length worship album. These “God” songs are personal and straight from the heart. My goal is to be fully funded for the cost of renting the studio, professional musicians, and the sound engineer. My goal is to raise $3,000, and I’ve raised around $1,000 from past donations.
If you are willing to donate, you can donate online at https://www.joyousdemark.com/donate by Credit Card or PayPal/Venmo by clicking the donate tab, or sending your check to 407 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support. I couldn’t do it without you.
