June 2024 Newsletter
Dear Friends,
Praise God we made it to summer. We can all relate to the biblical analogy of the farmer who prepares for different seasons. In the fall, we plant and water our crops; in the winter we patiently wait; in the spring we see beautiful things grow and mature and reap a harvest. I believe we’re seeing that come to pass right here in Pittsburgh. In James 5:7-8 it says “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” So just as it is in our own Christian walk, we plant and we tend to the works God has for us. In the season of waiting, things may appear dormant and “non-productive,” but under the soil, God is developing each and every one of us.
Just a quick summary of the past couple months:
I’ve been ministering different places by leading worship in a couple different settings.
I led a worship service for a Woman’s conference in East Liberty at the end of April at Lincoln Avenue Church of God. It was a time of refreshing and letting go of past hurts and strongholds. I’ve seen God use me in little ways here and there, playing and singing, and serving God’s kingdom in any way possible. Most recently, I played in Greensburg, PA at an outdoor worship concert event called “A Time of Refreshing.” It was wonderful to see people worship and pray, and let God move.
Please pray for me in my next endeavors. During the last week of June, my sister and I will be taking about ten students to youth camp at Jumonville. We want God’s best for their lives, and for this to impact them forever and ever. We want to see youth recommit their lives to Christ and for a great revival to take root in their hearts. Secondly, I’m going to continue writing new worship songs and record in the studio. Look out for my new single “Fire,” which will be available on all streaming platforms. I’m praying for God’s direction in the area of recording original songs; please believe with me for new boldness and Holy Spirit fire. I’m also going to a “Rhema” Ministers conference in Lancaster, PA to gain more leadership insight, to attend teachings, and be refreshed. Prayer that my parents, Pastor Chris and Belinda, have a blessed time on this trip and have a rejuvenating time.
Stand with me, so that I can continue to lead worship in various settings, teach the youth, reach the lost, and travel on evangelist trips, near and far. I want to be God’s vessel and I never want to settle for less. Blessings to you and thank you for your continuing prayers and support.
I couldn’t do it without you.
Blessings!
